Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English actress and model who gained notoriety in the late 90s for being Hugh Grant's lover, is a former English model. Hurley was instantly noticed by the media in 1994 when Grant was the focus of attention worldwide because of the success of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied Grant at the Los Angeles premiere of the film wearing the Versace plunge dress, held with gold safetypins. One of the highlights of Hurley's professional career has been her involvement with the company that makes cosmetics Estee Lauder. Hurley's first modelling job was at Estee Lauder, when she was just 29 years old. She's been a model since the year 1995 to promote their cosmetics, and in particular perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington is her best known role from the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), both of which became hugely popular. Hurley is the owner of an eponymous swimming brand, and she also models it. Many critics argued that the track promoted same-sex sexual relations however others believed that the scene which was depicted on the album appealed more to male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl was an instant hit on Perry's One of the Boys in 2008 because of the mixture of sexual enthusiasm and polished melody. Hot N Cold is a very popular track that is a second. Perry also wrote a lot of the lyrics for the album.
